Passion is in Fashion;
How to Live out your Passion
2 Timothy 1:6
"... I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you.
What if we could believe and receive his love? His unconditional,
passionate, unselfish love? What impact could we make on the world, our
communities and our homes?
Lets start with the impact that it could make on you. Never is a woman
more full and powerful than when she feels loved. Women have the ability
to influence, see beauty, draw out the best in others and encourage,
simply by design. God has made us uniquely feminine and said it is very
good. With these feminine qualities also comes a great ability to
nurture others. So as a woman you are equipped to receive and give love!
As we consider all that God is doing as he fashions us for passion,
start with who you are as his daughter.

Who do you say I am?
Matthew 16:15
We have seen what the word says about who we are, but who do we say that
He is? In Matthew 16:15 that very question was asked of Peter. His
response was You are the Christ, the son of the living God.
The love that God has bestowed upon us through Jesus Christ requires a
response. There is no way to encounter Jesus without coming to a point
of decision. Reading the gospels we see many examples of men and women
that met Jesus along their way. Some, like the rich young ruler (Matthew
19:16-22), chose to turn and walk away. Others like the woman at the
well (John 4:1-42) were so moved by his ability to see right into her
heart that she had a life changing experience and told others as well
who believed because of her testimony. I love verse 42 in this passage
that says we no longer believe because of what you said; now we have
heard for ourselves , and we know that this man really is the Savior of
the world.
Knowing Jesus is more than just knowing about him, it is knowing him
because we have seen and heard for ourselves. When we encounter the love
of Jesus Christ it demands a response. Living a passionate life is the
result of a real encounter with a very real Savior!
