RECIPES Coconut Chai Shake

Ingredient List: One fresh whole coconut (save the water and the meat) Thumb sized piece of raw fresh ginger root 1/2 tsp cardamom 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp clove (can grind up whole cloves in clean coffee grinder)
NOTE: FOR LESS SPICY TASTE, HALF SPICES as this recipe is VERY spicy
Open the coconut according to You Tube Video instructions. Pour the coconut water into a clean strong blender Scrap the coconut meat out with a spoon and put into blender.( Do not use meat that is turning purplish that means it is going bad. Throw the purplish parts away) Add finely grated fresh ginger root Add cardamom, cinnamon and cloves. Blend on high and enjoy!!
Health benefits: Ginger is a known anti-inflammatory, and aid for digestion. Cardamon is great for digestion, is a cleanser and a warming spice. It is good for bronchitis and asthma. Cinnamon is a blood sugar regulator and is helpful in diabetes. It is a good source for calcium & iron. Cloves are anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory. This is a nutritious and invigorating treat!
ICE MILK Pre-freeze milk (preferrably raw) in 2 or 3 ice cube trays.( Can use almond milk, rice milk or non GMO soy milk instead of dairy plus add 1 tsp raw organic extra virgin coconut oil per serving) OR use fresh milk and add ice cubes Add the frozen milk to powerful blender that can crush ice. Add a little milk to this, (not too much or your shake will be too runny) add a tsp real vanilla and several scoops (that came with the stevia) of stevia (about a 1/4 tsp). Add a raw, farm fresh egg that came from a pasture raised clean hen. If you are not sure where your eggs came from, do not add an egg to this milk shake.) Can add about a half cup plain kefir or yogurt but that is optional. Can add 6 whole raw almonds or raw walnuts per serving.Can add tsp of non GMO soy lecithin and a tsp of guar gum. (optional) Blend on high until smooth. Pour and enjoy!
RAW VEGGIE SMOOTHIE Add one small can organic tomatoes and a little water or cool green tea (or about 3-5 fresh garden ripe tomatoes and 1/2 cup filtered water or tea) into a strong powerful blender. Chop up 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, and a few slices of raw beets. Add to blender. Add a dash of cayenne (optional) and a whole clove (NOT BULB) of fresh garlic (optional). Can add 1-3 tsp of spirulina or other green superfood powder. (optional but recommended. Build up to the higher amount slowly over time if you are not used to taking this). Blend on high. Enjoy. Can add 1-2 tsp of raw chia seeds or fresh ground flax seeds but they should be added in with the tomatoes and water so they have time to soften and swell. Dilute with filtered water if too thick. Serves 2-3. I make this before dinner.It helps fill us up with good raw veggies and makes sure we are eating more veggies.
