"I wish I could tell you of the bliss that followed, but that would not be the truth," Lesa said. "The truth is, for the next 15 years, I struggled with bad choices, broken promises, and pain and suffering that finally brought me to my knees with the death of my youngest son, Luke." The way in which Lesa saw God changed on that day. God was no longer who she thought He was. Lesa was not sure that she wanted to serve Him anymore. For two years, she turned Him away. "Now, years later," Lesa explained, "I am telling you about myself and wonder why God would allow me this privilege. My hope is that no matter who you are, no matter what you have done, no matter what has been done to you, that you will take the time to consider Him. He is probably not who you think He is. But I promise you, you will not be disappointed with what you find." Lesa has been a fruitful women's ministry leader for over ten years, helped plant Freedom Life Church, Tidemill Campus and will be the initial women's ministry leader at the new Freedom Life Church Langley Campus, beginning November 1, 2008. She functions as a bold spokesperson for God, pastor and teacher. She brings a fresh sense of honesty, openness and transparency into her practical teachings, drawing women closer to their loving God, and encouraging them to return fully to Him.
In addition to acting as an Assistant Director of God's Girls Ministry, she also serves on the greeting team and the prayer ministry of Freedom Life Church, Tidemill Campus. She helps women gain confidence in their gifts and callings, facilitates healing and encourages women to stand victoriously on the promises of God. Carol brings enthusiasm everywhere she goes, serves with joy and preaches with boldness and authority, which inspires women to become more intimate with their loving God. |
