WELCOME 2010-2011 INTERNS

Lisa Hill, Anna Benchek & Linda Graef are all enrolled in the GGM internship program and will be living in the intern houses near CNU. They will meet with an assigned mentor at least once every two weeks and are required to finish a Home school Bible Curriculum as part of their intense discipleship program. 

We wish to extend a hardy congratulations to Debbie Mitchell for successfully completing her 2009-2010 internship year! Debbie-you are faithful and you are a woman that God calls Beloved. Congratulations! On September 13th at The Circuit, we will honor Debbie and celebrate her 'graduation.'

TEMPORARY PRAYER ROOM COORDINATOR FOUND

Maria Weaver will head up the Prayer Ministry until someone else rises up to take it over, together with her assistant, intern Lisa Hill. They will be responsible for  keeping prayer requests updated, planning monthly designated prayer times, and other related duties to the operation of GOD'S OFFICE public prayer room. 

WHAT IS NEW:

We would like to thank Restoration Christian Center for the generous use of their facilities over the past two months. Thank you Pastors Crowder!

We will not meet on Labor Day. 

Monday, September 13th, our women's Bible study will meet at The Circuit for the first time. There will be no dinner served. We will celebrate the successful completion of Debbie's internship with desserts and coffee. Bring a treat to share.

 Our men's group is still meeting at Wendal's house in Hampton on Tuesday nights. Call 706-3674 for directions and address.

Please join us as we celebrate the Grand Opening of Hampton Roads newest free wi-fi gathering place and art gallery, The Circuit , a Marketplace Ministry near the campus of Christopher Newport University. We are starting a revolution to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the un-churched in the marketplace! The Circuit is a subsidiary of God's Girls Ministry Inc., that brings the Love of Christ into the marketplace, that promotes unity & cooperation among multiple church communities to build the Kingdom of God, reaching out to the un-churched for Christ.

We are ALMOST READY! Although we are very blessed and extremely thankful for the special night of sacrificial giving that yielded $3700, we still need $4000 to purchase  sound, and multi-media equipment (including TVs), drink frig and a work counter so we can be fully operational by the end of September.  If you wish to contribute this entire amount, more or a portion, please mail your tax deductible checks to:
